Supanova Cosplay Festival is Upon Us & Streaming LIVE!

Saturday November 27th is going to be a HUGE day in Brisbane! Expect a massive day of Cosplay fun including an "on the day" Madman Cosplay Comp, an array of vendors, guest artist Stewart McKenny, anime screenings and of course, more cosplay than you can shake a stick at!

But the big daddy of them all is the Grand Final of the Madman National Cosplay Championships that you can now experience the fun and excitement of even if you can't be in Brisbane as we'll be streaming the whole competition LIVE online!

That's right, from wherever in the world you are, you can cheer on your favourite competitor and see the best that Australian cosplayers have to offer simply by going to - www.madman.com.au/cosplay - at 2.45pm EST or 3.45pm EDT, Saturday 27th November!

Please note: Queensland is not on Daylight Savings and you may need to adjust your time appropriately.

And don't forget our Supa-Stars!

There's famous Cosplayer and judge, Alodia Gosiengfiao, who will be casting her eagle eye over the contestants; voice-actor supreme, Stephanie Sheh, of Vampire Knight, FLCL, Bleach and Naruto Fame; and artist extraordinaire, Stewart McKenny, who cartoon-style of comic-book art is after manga fans' very hearts!

Red Hill Competition & Ticket Giveaway!

From the executive producer of Chopper and the creator of Wolf Creek comes the thriller RED HILL, a story of retribution and redemption told over the course of a single day and night starring Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and written & directed by Patrick Hughes.

Young police officer Shane Cooper (Kwanten) relocates to the small country town of Red Hill with his pregnant wife Alice (Claire van der Boom) to start a family. But when news of a prison break sends the local law enforcement officers - led by the town's ruling presence Old Bill (Steve Bisley) – into a panic, Shane's first day on duty rapidly turns into a nightmare.

Enter Jimmy Conway (Tom E. Lewis), a convicted murderer serving life behind bars, who has returned to the isolated outpost seeking revenge. Now caught in the middle of what will become a terrifying and bloody confrontation, Shane will be forced to take the law into his own hands if he is to survive.

December 1st is the day we reveal our first round of guest announcements for the Melbourne and Brisbane 2011 expos!

Mark it on your calendar, scribble it in a book, put it in your phone or get your friends to remind you...

Do whatever it takes to make sure you don't forget to check back on the Supanova website for all the BIG guest announcements!

And don't forget, this is just the first round of announcements! We will be making further announcements as we progress ever closer to the Melbourne and Brisbane shows and make sure you also lock and load the 1st of February for our initial Sydney and Perth Supa-Star line-ups!

So even if your favourite creator or celeb isn't on the first list, don't lose hope, there are many MANY more to come!
